Oklahoma men's basketball will play in the eight-team 2022 ESPN Events Invitational as announced by the organization. The Sooners previously competed in the tournament in 2012.
OU is joined by Florida State, Memphis, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Seton Hall, Siena and Stanford for the tournament held during Feast Week, Nov. 24-27 at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla.
Now in its 15th year, the ESPN Events Invitational is owned and operated by ESPN Events. Dayton won the most recent invitational in 2021. Previous winners include Maryland (2019), Villanova (2018), West Virginia (2017), Gonzaga (2016, 2012 and 2008), Xavier (2015), Kansas (2014), Memphis (2013), Dayton (2011), Notre Dame (2010), Florida State (2009), NC State (2007) and Arkansas (2006).
Tickets will be available for purchase following the announcement of the complete tournament schedule later this summer.
