Six Memphis Tigers were in double figures Wednesday night in Athens, Ga., but the 18th-ranked Tigers came up short at Georgia, 82-79.

During that span, Lomax and Tyler Harris each made two free throws, and Bates had a pair of buckets, including a dunk, to give Memphis its first lead since 8-7.
Memphis committed only six turnovers in the first half and just two in the last 13:30 of the half.
The Tigers ended the contest with a season low 11 turnovers.
Memphis also went a season best 14-for-17 from the free throw line (.824).
