Texas Tech’s Dru Baker, TCU’s Austin Krob and West Virginia’s Jackson Wolf were selected for Big 12 Baseball weekly awards. A five-person media panel picks the award winners.

Baker repeated as Big 12 Player of the Week, while Wolf was tabbed Pitcher of the Week. Krob was a first-time Newcomer of the Week honoree.

Baker went 10-for-14 (.714) in the three-game sweep of USF with a team-high five RBIs. The sophomore registered 3+ hits and scored in all three games. He led the league in on-base percentage (.929) and stolen bases (3) for the week.

Wolf pitched 7.1 innings of shutout ball in WVU's 11-0 win over Kansas to open Big 12 play on Friday night. Wolf allowed just four hits, including two through seven innings, and tied his career high with eight strikeouts in 98 pitches. He retired KU in order in three frames, while earning his second win of the campaign. This was Wolf’s first award of the season and second of his career.

Krob did not allow a hit in the game until there were two outs in the seventh against Baylor. The lefty allowed just three total base runners in his career-high seven innings on the mound and did not allow a runner to reach third. He never faced more than four batters in an inning as he had a stretch of 10 straight retired from the fourth through seventh inning. The sophomore matched his career-high with nine strikeouts.
