Pitt's Oct. 28 football game at Notre Dame will be nationally televised by NBC and kick off at 3:30 p.m. (ET), it was announced.
Pittsburgh's WPXI-TV, Channel 11, will televise the game locally. The contest will also be shown on Peacock, NBC's streaming service.
The Panthers and Irish own a colorful series history with 72 all-time meetings dating back to 1909. The 2023 encounter marks Pitt's first visit to Notre Dame Stadium since 2018.
Both teams celebrated bowl victories last season and finished in the nation's Top 25.
Pitt defeated UCLA in the Sun Bowl, 37-35, to finish 9-4 and earn a No. 22 national ranking. The Panthers enter this season riding a five-game winning streak, the second-longest active winning streak among ACC schools (Florida State, six) and tied for the sixth-longest nationally.
Notre Dame also compiled a 9-4 mark, topping South Carolina in the Gator Bowl, 45-38. The Irish finished with a No. 18 ranking.
