(BCSNN) — TCU overcame significant foul trouble and used a dominant second‑half stretch to defeat Arizona State 90–78 on Tuesday night at Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs committed 23 fouls in a game that featured 52 total whistles, but still secured their fifth win in six games.

Three TCU starters spent most of the night battling fouls. Xavier Edmonds scored 17 points with six rebounds in just 17 minutes before picking up his fourth foul with 14:56 remaining. David Punch added eight points and four rebounds before drawing his fourth foul with 11:22 to play, while Jayden Pierre fouled out in 13 minutes after scoring five.

TCU (18–10, 8–7 Big 12) shot just 32.4 percent in the first half but still led 33–30 at the break. Micah Robinson tied his career high with 20 points, including 17 in the second half, as the Frogs shot 53.3 percent after halftime.

A 20–4 run pushed TCU’s lead to 69–50 with 8:03 remaining, its largest margin of the night. The Frogs committed a season‑low seven turnovers, outrebounded ASU 40–34 and made 28 free throws. Brock Harding went 8 of 11 at the line and finished with 10 points and 11 assists for his second double‑double of the season.

Arizona State (14–14, 5–10) was led by Maurice Odum, who posted 21 points and 10 assists.

TCU improved to 13–5 at home and extended its success under head coach Jamie Dixon, who is now 4–0 all‑time against the Sun Devils. The Frogs are 16–2 this season when outrebounding their opponent and 156–46 in that scenario under Dixon.
