Four Bruins scored in double figures as the No. 11-ranked UCLA men's basketball team recorded a 74-49 win against Washington in a Pac-12 contest on Sunday evening at Alaska Airlines Arena.

After several early back-and-forth sequences, UCLA (13-2, 4-0 Pac-12) reeled off 12 consecutive points to secure a 17-6 advantage, just eight minutes in to the contest. The Bruins never trailed the rest of the way, extending their winning streak to a season-long 10 games.

UCLA limited its opposition to fewer than 50 points for the first time all season. That marked the Bruins' first game, holding the opponent to as few as 49 points, since a 66-43 win at home last season against Stanford (Jan. 29, 2022).

Freshman Adem Bona scored a season-high 18 points and had three blocks, while Tyger Campbell (15 points, 11 assists) logged his fifth career double-double. Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored in double figures, finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists. David Singleton totaled 14 points, connecting on 4 of 9 shots.

"If we can get scoring out of people other than the main two or three guys, it takes us to another level," said Mick Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men's Head Basketball Coach. "We tend to forget Adem's a freshman, young kid. I know he doesn't look like it at times when he's playing with strength and flying around above the rim, but he's still improving. He and Coach Savino are working hard every day on his finishing around the basket. He was excellent today with his finishing. His effort is always great."

UCLA's 25-point win also marked the program's fourth consecutive victory at Washington, the first time in which the Bruins have accomplished that feat since a stretch from 1994-97.

Campbell provided a major lift for UCLA on Sunday, totaling 15 points and a season-high 11 assists. The redshirt senior guard finished 4-of-7 from 3-point distance and had only two turnovers. He moved into the No. 6 slot on UCLA's career assists list (538), surpassing former UCLA guard Bryce Alford (537).

Jaylen Clark led the Bruins with 11 rebounds, including two offensive boards.

Campbell and Jaquez Jr. keyed UCLA in a go-ahead scoring run midway through the first half. Jaquez Jr. provided the spark, converting on a hook shot within the paint before the duo nailed back-to-back 3-pointers from distance. That gave the Bruins an 8-0 scoring run. Singleton and Bona added baskets to make the score 17-6 in UCLA's favor at the 12:20 mark in the first half.

Washington rallied, cutting the Bruins' margin to five points later in the first half. Singleton and Campbell responded with a pair of 3-point baskets on consecutive UCLA possessions, helping the Bruins to enter the locker room at halftime with a 36-27 cushion.

Campbell was UCLA's top scorer in the first half, having scored nine points, while Bona and Singleton each added eight points.

Bona and Jaquez Jr. each totaled 10 points in the second half, as UCLA's lead was never in doubt. Bona opened the second half with a highlight-reel alley-oop off a nice feed from Campbell. That gave UCLA a 38-27 lead, pushing the Bruins' advantage into double digits for the rest of the game.

The Bruins' lead ballooned to 18 points. UCLA received back-to-back 3-pointers from Jaquez Jr. and Campbell, making the score 53-35 with 13:13 remaining. Bona later scored six consecutive points to put the game out of reach – at 70-45 – with just over three minutes remaining.

UCLA's cushion grew to as many as 27 points after freshman forward Mac Etienne hit a hook shot with 42 seconds remaining.

The Bruins, riding a 10-game winning streak, will return to action with a Pac-12 showdown against USC this Thursday evening (Jan. 5). Game time in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (PT). The Bruins' game will be televised on ESPN, with Dave Pasch and Bill Walton calling the action.
